Photographer Nicolò Lanfranchi, on assignment for the magazine Elle, captured the contrasts between tradition and modernity in the Andean country of Peru. His journey took him to the mystical ruins of Machu Picchu, along the Paracas coastal area also known as the Peruvian California, all the way to the capital, Lima.
