VitaRussian documentary and portrait photographer Daria Troitskaia was born in Saint Petersburg, raised in Vienna, and now lives on the Mediterranean island of Malta. She is working on a number of new projects, following the recent release of ‘Maltese Exposures’ – a book of street photographs captured on Malta in 2020. Aside from working on her ongoing evolution as a photographer, Troitskaia has a strong interest in cameras themselves: the artist has assembled a collection of cameras, and enjoys experimenting with a wide range of equipment.
