‘We been hunting now for six or seven years. We go anywhere where there’s rabbits,’ writes Paddy, one of the two young brothers at the heart of this photography book. ‘Every night we go out we come back with at least three or four. Sometimes when the dog gets very tired I put a collar on Liam.’ Paddy and Liam are Travellers from Ireland. Perry Ogden has been shooting portraits of them going about their lives outdoors for a good while now. More recently he’s been bringing stylist Tara St Hill along and she’s been dressing the boys in the latest designer menswear – at which point his straightforward documentary style tips into something more like a fashion shoot. ‘Paddy & Liam’ is a sweet, confusing, gorgeous, genre-blending book, and quite unlike anything else on the market.
