Creating your own voice

01/05/2015, Jacob Aue Sobol is leading a workshop at the mc2gallery in Milan, from January 14 to 18, 2015.
With the theme “creating your own voice within photography”, Sobol will show participants how to develop a sense for their own unique imagery.

The aim is to discover the type of photography that suits the personality of each of the photographers. Among other issues, the workshop will deal with how intimate pictures also affect and provoke self-reflection in the viewer. At the same time, participants should learn to identify with their own pictures.

In addition to daily, alternating exercises and discussions of earlier works, the often difficult subject of how to select the right pictures will also be dealt with. Those interested can take part in all five workshop days, or can shorten the training to three days.
