12/31/2014, The Eddycam 35 mm is a truly unique product, not least due to its material. With a thickness of around 2.4 mm, elk leather is extremely robust yet remarkably supple and soft to the touch – ensuring that even the longest photography excursions can be enjoyed without any hint of discomfort to the neck or shoulder.
Using ultra-strong specialist thread, the meticulously hand-cut elk leather strips, cow-hide end pieces and connection straps are sown together with five-fold stitching. The strap attaches to the camera with non-scratch, high-grade stainless steel clasps.
The Eddycam 35 mm is the world's first and currently only camera strap made of elk leather – an exceptionally durable and comfortable strap, ideally suited for the Leica M.
