Germany is currently faced with a lot of challenges in finding accommodation for refugees. In addition to the quite practical issues such as the lack of space, the German government is only getting limited backing from the population when it comes to choosing new locations for refugee accommodation. On assignment for Stern, Philipp Spalek photographed the places where people coming from crisis regions are being lodged for the moment.
