Aldo Gomez grew up in a rough neighborhood in in East Hollywood, LA. He chose skateboarding over gang life, a conscious choice through which he forged timeless friendships and developed a passion for art. Skateboarding was his way out, his path to a life free of the routine violence so many of his early peers became a part of.
