Bil is a graduate of Naropa University's Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, with Post-Graduate work at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. He Co-Founded the Prazska Skola Poetiky in Prague, Czech Republic which ran from 1998-2005 where he also served as creative director. An avid scholar of the role photography plays in world culture and the interstices between art, photography and literature. In 2010 Bil founded the fashion art and literature periodical Black & Grey magazine and soon after started the creative agency NINESIXTYNINE, a unique photography collective whose goal is to connect passionate professional fashion artists, stylists, and studio professionals with the right match in editorial, fashion, commerce and public relations.
