In connection of Berlin Fashion Week Galerie 206 shows a selection of style-defining fashion photographs af Artist Toni Meneguzzo.
Meneguzzo (*1949 in Portogruaro/Venetia) is an international photo-artist, working for 30 years as fashion photographer for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Harper & Queen, Arena and the New York Times. His grand-scale Polaroids, which were to be seen in those editorials, soon brought him recognition.
They became Meneguzzos trademark. The title of the Berlin exhibition FRAMMENTI 20X25 is programmatic, which he coined with his Polaroids. At the same time the artist relates to his time as a fashion photographer; a fragment of his artistic career.
He had his first show in London in 1975. In this era his close cooperation with Condé Nast began. He was responsible for major campaigns like Jil Sander, Issey Miyake, Gianfranco Ferré or Guerlain, one of the oldest fragrance houses of the world.
Countless international shows followed, as did participations at photo-biennales, where his work became part of the movement of contemporary photography. To work with a Polaroid Camera 20X25 he named as pure and true.
He did not need a laboraty, as the pictures developed in the open. He sees his trade as an approach to the magical and to catch that has been his aim: Opulent settings and compositions one-of-a-kind at the same time.

His work stands for stylish, not only timeless fashion shots, ands graceful documentation, but timeless portrays. Later in life Meneguzzo developed a taste for Digital and Movies and now has an interest in architectural photography. His publications include the New York Times, AD , World of Interiors and german Architektur & Wohnen. In 2010 his book „Go Shala“ came out, with the theme of Hinduism, its rites and ceremonies, f.i. the coloring and ornamentation of holy cows.
