Portrait(s) in Vichy

06/15/2018

The famous French spa town of Vichy has also become known for its annual portrait photography festival, which takes place every summer in a variety of locations both indoors and outdoors; locals and visitors alike are encouraged to stroll around the city centre and discover great photography as they go. For Portrait(s) 2018, Mark Seliger, who’s best known for having shot more than 125 covers for Rolling Stone in the 1990s, will be displaying the best of his celebrity portraits on the sunny banks of Lake Allier, while, in the square in front of Église Saint-Louis, Carla Talopp and Thomas Millet’s collaborative project Karma Milopp studio will be debuting 30 new portraits of families from Vichy. And finally, in the Valery-Larbaud Cultural Centre; well you’ll find eight more very diverse exhibitions to enjoy.
