Mark Borthwick: No Mark

Published in an edition of only 1,000, ‘No Mark’ comes in a heat-sealed, silver packet and is made up of four books and one poster by British photographer Mark Borthwick. The poster is from his pared-down autumn/winter 2016 campaign for Balenciaga – the house’s first campaign since Demna Gvasalia took over as artistic director – which was shot outdoors on an ordinary street. The books are small black-and-white photocopies of Borthwick’s old photobooks, including his classics ‘Synthetic Voices’ and ‘Margiela 2000–1’.
