More than 100 of Esther Haase’s favourite pictures – many of which were published in her Hatje Cantz monograph, also titled ‘Esther’s World’, last year, and some of which were originally published by us in S Magazine – are now on display in her glamorous solo show in Stuttgart. ‘My life,’ says the German photographer, ‘is a dance with the camera through the world,’ and now we’re all invited; expect to find cancan girls at the Moulin Rouge, ladies frolicking on the shores of the Baltic Sea or spinning around in Austrian garden mazes, models plunging backwards down waterslides in Miami, and lovers dancing the tango in Buenos Aires. Esther’s life is beautiful and so full of joy.
