With good reason, Ellen von Unwerth is considered one of the most influential fashion photographers today; however, she is surely also one of the most important photographers of recent decades.

After an initial presentation in Los Angeles, the 'Heimat’ exhibition will be on display from September 14 to October 14, 2017, at the IMMAGIS Gallery in Munich. The exhibition is made up of over 30 pieces from the German top photogrpher’s book of the same title. Starting precisely at the same time as the Oktoberfest, von Unwerth invites the viewers to accompany her on a fun journey through her homeland of Bavaria, enrapturing them with a staged series loaded with eroticism, imbued with nostalgia, and lusciously full of life.
