Izzy Gallery is presenting works by the renowned fashion photographer for the second time. In the My Way images, Ellen von Unwerth tells her story in a manner both powerful and erotic, and borrowing from cinematographic scenes. The black and white as well as colour pictures that the photographer herself selected, centre around a self-confident, very feminine and at the same time very sensual woman.

Before Ellen von Unwerth discovered photography for herself, and became a photographer and film director, she was herself a model. Over the past twenty years, however, she has become one of the most significant photographers in the world. For example, she discovered Claudia Schiffer, who would go on to become a super model. Nowadays, von Unwerth works for brands such as Dior, Azzedine Alaia, and Clinique, and magazines such as Vogue, Variety, Interview, Max and Numero.

The artist is also a very successful short film and video clip director. Among others, she works for the designer Erin Fetherston, for whom she made a short film with actress Kirsten Dunst. In addition, she has directed music videos for Christina Aguilera, Duran Duran and Kenneth Bager.
