Annie Leibovitz has worked for some of the biggest magazines in the world: Rolling Stone from 1970, Vanity Fair from 1983 and American Vogue from 1988. Over the course of her glittering career she’s photographed many of the greatest cultural stars of the 20th and 21st centuries, icons that have made the modern world: Muhammad Ali, Jackie and Joan Collins, Miles Davis, Michael Jackson, Nicole Kidman, the list goes on. Now, for her first solo exhibition in Germany for many years, Jörg Maaß Kunsthandel presents a selection of more than 30 of Leibovitz’s most timeless portraits from a golden age of celebrity.
